Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Research Methods
Head of the Laboratory
Pavel Dmitrenok, D.Sc.
Key research areas:
Scientific fundamental work is underway to study the structure of low-molecular and high-molecular compounds and the study of intermolecular interactions (hydrogen bonds), as well as research on the relationship between the spatial structure of high-molecular biopolymers and their activity.
Research is carried out using mass spectrometry, high resolution NMR spectroscopy, other spectroscopic and quantum chemical methods.
The work of the laboratory is aimed at establishing the structure of a wide class of bioorganic compounds, analyzing complex mixtures of organic compounds, identifying and characterizing biopolymers, studying the biosynthesis and metabolism of drugs, studying the interactions of protein and peptide molecules with electrons.
