Neomytilan
NEOMYTILAN is a high-molecular glycogen-like polysaccharide isolated from the marine mussel Crenomytilus grayanus.
NEOMYTILAN production does not require deficient raw materials, reagents, and equipment. NEOMYTILAN can be produced from the waste after processing of commercial species of mussel. This method is ecologically pure and provides complex processing of sea edible raw material that allows the decrease of environmental pollution, efficient use of valuable edible raw material, creation of new prophylactic remedies, and extension of assortment ofpharmaceutical products.
APPLICATION NEOMYTILAN has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing action. It can be used as a basic substance for cosmetic and medical ointments and gels, as well as for nasal aerosols reducing pathophysiological effect of harmful environmental factors on human lungs. A series of other original medical products and biologically active food supplements are planned to be developed.
